Initially designed to focus on the development and testing of plastic products for horticulture and agriculture in general, the Unit has quickly evolved and widened its scope of work.
Beside its activities in plasticulture, today the Agronomy unit is involved in the development of solutions for post harvest of grains and pulses, pest control and fertilization. Above all, the Unit has experimental and testing facilities and highly competent staff with
capabilities in designing and carrying out appropriate bioassays and as well as data analysis and reporting.
